Alexandar Bacon, world renowned graffiti artist and recognized aerosol master has painted murals for many local businesses, private residential commissions, for the city of Toronto and other cities both nationally and internationally.
Bacon beautifies cityscapes with a combination of flora and fauna, portraits, and historical references.
Bacon's work brings colour to otherwise drab pockets of the city and brings more traffic to areas that need a boost of commerce.
Bacon began painting in the 90’s as a teenager. He is best known for his colourful works lining the alleys and streets of Toronto. Bacon asserts that graffiti is an art form that is passed down from one generation to the next.
His work has evolved to deconstructing traditional graffiti techniques to create an abstract style while maintaining letter form.
Most recently Bacon has been doing large scale mural and canvas work while maintaining the disciplines of graffiti.
His clients include Coke, Lulu Lemon, Mariotte Hotel, Pangea Seed, St. Joesph’s Communications, Adidas, OVO, Collective Arts Brewery, Bell, TIFF, Dickies, York Heritage Properties, Chevrolet, Piano Piano, Sassafras, Jackpot Lucky Chicken, Patois, Mountain Dew, Spirit of York, Union Station, Patron, Awai Restaurant, Eggplant Studios, Roskilde Festival, and numerous TV and film projects, as well as private clients and commissioned work.
